Our Story

Welcome to Lucky Bee Seed Co. We’re so glad that you stumbled upon our little corner of the internet!

Inline with the essence of our brand, our journey began quite organically - just a group of people talking about how the world seemed to be getting worse. The various social, political and economic challenges seemed endless and there was growing pessimism related to climate change.

Everyone was feeling helpless - so much of the messaging around climate change focuses on what we can’t or shouldn’t do. But what about talking about what individuals CAN do? And more specifically, what they can do NOW.

Over 60% of the U.S. is privately-owned, so redesigning our spaces to better support pollinators can make a big difference. It was our goal to make responsible and horticulturally-informed products so that re-wilding can be easy, fun, and effective.

Thank you for all your love and support as the business has grown. We truly could not have predicted the amazing response. Most importantly, thank you to the butterflies, bees, and other pollinators for all you do. Nature does a lot of work for free if we just let it.
